It's like making a good sandwich. Set aside a time period everyday to study. Maybe 30mins on a weekdays and 1hr on a weekend. I never before in mugging or burning midnight oil. If you don't have the attention span to study for 2hrs straight, don't lie to yourself. You will only end up spending 1hr 45mins ranting to yourself and 15mins doing real studying. 30mins of studying will do just fine. Relaxing is very important, or you may breakdown. The O level is not a sprint, it's a marathon running for 4/5 years, with the last year being your final lap, where you wanna throw in everything and go for it! But still, relax and caught your breath once in a while, or we will be visiting you in IMH. Pace yourself for the papers. Try to pace yourself such that you can finish the paper with enough time to check through at least once. You will spot some really stupid mistake the second time. Never study the day before the exam. If you do last minute cramming, you will only end up having the facts in your dream, but all with the wrong title. Then you will end up writing rubbish. Over all, always take some time to look at the pretty girls walking past. The pretty girl may not walk past again, but you can always repeat your O levels.... The security guards concerned will be counseled and their performance closely monitored to ensure the upkeep of NLB service standards. In addition, the security firm we outsourced the Library's security services to has been informed of your experience, and we have been assured that it will be observing the performance of their errant staff. I know that following the rules of the library gives everyone a conducive environment to read their books and study for their exam. I also recognize that there is this Indian worker who is always wearing a black coloured jacket patrolling round the library, however today at around 6.40pm this Indian worker scolded me for no particular reason, i was just having a good laugh and chat with my friends at the third level of the library. The librarian (i will regard him as librarian if not as security guard) then come to me and tell me that I have done something, not giving me a proper reason even when i asked. His reply to me was rude and intimidating as he said "You have no right to questioned me, do you wan to leave the library?" this has shown that he is showing me that he is standing at the top and me, just a lowly citizen in the library. I strongly suggest this to the library to either make him change his attitude in the way he speaks if not i doubt the library management as a whole.
