SEC 3 SLCAMPMonday, March 12, 2007, 4:11 PM1st day. Everyone was gathering and so.. then its time to set the tone for the secondary 3 SL's yup, my group was EAGLE , i shall elaborate about them further on as i go. okay so after all this, the sec3 SL went in to have their very interesting and fun module! and so the sec4 SL is seperated into two groups, one will go the orchard road thing, the other did the night walk and do the final planning for the station games. the night walk was crazily plan, some of those scary places like the girls toilet at the DnT block(1st floor) don't know why but it gives me the creep cause maybe because girl is scary so the toilet is too? yea so the staff room toilet was actually plan to have one charcoal drawing like those at the art room to be on the mirror and candles and maybe some incense ... some kind of prayer thing but decided not to cause it takes a lot of time and 'better not have anything to do with incense' another scary area is the commerce room, during the night there can be no signal transmit, my walkie talkie can't reach Melissa!talk about spooky. so we just go round and round and round it become mundane gradually. so had our lunch at kenny cafe, then not long after have a little fun game of soccer, then the sec3 is release for their lunch break, lucky for those who ate at the kenny cafe we need not eat again, and so i start to talk with my EAGLE ya better start some bonding. and after that, we go round the school again to think about the checkpoint and what are they going to do. And so we make it scary for a place where they find it familiar (very good already) so they had their station game after the module. I only can join them at the last 2 game due to night walk planning. so the feed back was that the game was good for them =) they lost their flag halfway thou, but instead of negotiating with crystal to let them off one and for all, i let them do some forfeit in hope that they won't lost their flag and their flag is something to them, they can't lose it or what. so was dinner, and almost immediately is the nightwalk, so their waiting point is the AVA room. Some hiccups here and there but everything still went on as smoothly, they had fun, the sec4 SLs had fun and therefore everyone has fun. 2nd day it was their enpower quest day at orchard, yup but way before that, sec4 SL will do their push ups and round of runs for their punishment all the mistakes and stuff. i did my warm up before everything *grins* so i didn't have much trouble. It was a great way to start our day as well, bring out the lethargic in the SL and later bring in the enthusiasm for the later camp. ya my group was starting to disturb me and my eye *laugh* but anyway used to it so no problem =) then off to the enpower quest! group2 aka EAGLE was a great bunch the determination to win and maybe to have free time really show their leadership potential. take for example it take them less then 1 minute to finish the 1st checkpoint, the even remembered the checkpoint area where they will be going to later (peixuan check point) i admire their stamina thou, the toughest to them was when they need to find 15 people with the song SMACK THAT ( they need to choose 1 song out of 3 ) took them quite sometime but they manage it well since they know who to target at(eurasians and teenager) and the quest where they have to find the march birthday thing they almost gave up! but not giving up they persevere on! =D they ran and they ran and the thought to win blinded them about their concern for their teammates who can't keep up, but after constant reminders they finally pace down but Shu hui will to win is the most impressive she threw away the newspaper that was needed for the checkpoint i have to fork out 80cents still am and still is very impress of my own group integrity and such they are opted out for the best group cause they got the CHAMPION for the enpower quest, so EAGLES who read my blog ( think none of you read it) you guys is not really lousy so don't feel down , i saw your disappointment when you guys didn't got the best group, you guys are best for me, you guys are really ROOTED TO SOAR, SOARING EXTREMELY HIGH, SHARP EYES (impress by the paragon checkpoint you guys manage to find those item in like less then 20minute) you guys portray your own group name really very well! oh well. team name: EAGLE team no. 2 facilitator: Jianyang, Shuhui team member: Siti aisyah, Ling hui, Natasha, shalihin, Hardy, Li kai, Aryani Achievements Westwood sec.sch qualities portrayed, winner of enpower quest, winner for your own IC :) I hope this camp marks something in you like how i enjoyed my SLcamp when i was a sec3 like you guys =)   |
